Welcome to Joy and Pedro's website for both Japanese-Style Acupuncture and Tui-Na, (Chinese deep-tissue massage) for the Brighton, Hove and Portslade area. Joy Carol uses Japanese-Style Acupuncture, in particular Kiiko Matsumoto's style, whilst Pedro Carol uses Traditional Chinese medical massage to help clients restore and maintain health. The oriental approach to treating disease is a holistic one - treating the whole person for the root-cause of the illness, rather than just the disease itself. A good analogy would be that illness is like a diseased leaf, but instead of treating the symptoms, we treat the root of the problem and heal the whole tree.
